hmm, then there might be something different with b130 gdm here? On b130 here, the only applet reacts to mouse click is the assistive technology one, which pops up a selection dialog when left-click on it. Both power management and clock applet at the gdm greeter bottom panel don't react to mouse click at all. that's why I tried to find another way around to change the format. so normally the clock applet at gdm greeter bottom panel should respond to mouse click?
