What build are you using? While what you are suggesting struck (strikes)
me as unlikely, it did cross my mind. Unfortunately, this issue has
coincided with a "cleaning" spree I've gone on, so I only have recent
BE's to try.

I'm going to install 2009.06 on an old box.
