Hi Andr?.
This is common to both Firefox and Thundrbird - the main app asks for the Master
Password, but any Add-ons (which Lightning is) that need it, will also ask - I'm
asked 4 times for a master password at the moment in TB - twice in FF.
AFAIK this is a long standing issue, and for some reason no-one (in any
community) seems to be bothered to fix it properly.
An other alternative that I've seen on other platforms, but there isn't a build
for OpenSolaris is the GNOME Keyring Add-on [1] - if this could be added then we
could at least mitigate it to the single GNOME Keyring question...
And yet another bug talks about merging this into the Mozilla code-base:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=309807
thus fixing it at the source of the problem...
Darren.
