The new GDM 2.28 integrated in build 130, so if you are using build 124,
then I doubt you are using the new GDM.

However, to make sure, you can run the following command to see what
version you are running:

$ gdmflexiserver --command=VERSION

The above command works with the old and new GDM.  The newer GDM 2.28
also supports running:

$ gdm --version
$ gdmflexiserver --version
