Since you're running snv_134, that's ati driver version 6.12.4. >From the ATI driver changelogs it appears Juniper support was added with the other Evergreen devices in ati version 6.13.0. We upgraded from 6.12.4 to 6.13.1 in snv_147, so the new driver would be available in either Solaris 11 Express or OpenIndiana. > and fbdev fails to initialize for some reason. fbdev can't work since you're not running on a Linux kernel. (Someday we'll fix Xorg to stop reporting it on Solaris, but it's just a harmless log message, so not high priority.) > There is no documentation about the vesa driver that seems to be used for > this GPU so I don't know what options it can offer to override the system > default settings. "man vesa" should show you the man page for it. (Not great documentation, but a little more than "none"). -- -Alan Coopersmith- alan.coopersm...@oracle.com Oracle Solaris Platform Engineering: X Window System _______________________________________________ desktop-discuss mailing list desktop-discuss@opensolaris.org
