I am using UFS only, but it is long past time for me to consider ZFS. BTW, I _had_ been running 2.x and 3.x on 256 MB RAM with 2GB swap. Following your implication, I will ps firefox-4.0b9 memory usage. You did not specify your swap, however my 3.5GB should be too enough. If you or other readers have more detailed RFI's I will run the commands. It could be something else, CPU usage is also slammed. Wither the dtrace project for Firefox?
