[desktop-discuss] Thunderbird 6.0 vs. Lightning

I'm here running thunderbird 5.0, running lightning 1.0b4.  Thunderbird 
advises me to upgrade to 6.0, and does not flag lightning as a problem, 
but when it restarts it fundamentally doesn't work (all my appointments 
are gone, and I can't add any new events or tasks, although all the menu 
items are there).  These days, I can't really use thunderbird without 
lightning.  Is this a known issue ?
