Hi all,

finally got my own laptop (a Toshiba M35X-S161, specs at
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0006ZKGK8/002-6641539-3318463?v=glance&n=541966)
and wanted to share some things about Foresight installation on it...

1) group-laptop-tools is great; it recognized the onboard Atheros
chipset, no more fiddling with madwifi compiling :)
2) Why gnome-power-manager and nm-applet isn't installed by default on
user's session? If group-laptop-tools is installed, they should be
added to user's session.
3) Suspend and hibernate (from gnome-power-manager's menu or closing
the lid) doesn't work:
   - I suspend and the laptop doesn't come back
   - I hibernate and in the next reboot it does the full
initialization, instead of picking up the hibernated system
4) CPU frequency/throttling is making me bang my head against a wall.
I tried to follow the tip on
http://www.plenz.com/thinkpad_R50e#cpufreq, but it's a no-go. Maybe
installing cpufrequtils will help?

Thanks all!
