And even if I click where it is shown, or where the item should be, it may only highlight the relevant option, but close if you try to click it. As shown in this screencast: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox/+bug/1647198/+attachment/4787375/+files/Firefox_suggestions_dropdown_menu_shown_in_wrong_place.mp4 And am able to reproduce the issue on many different sites so I don't think that it is site specific. I am running Ubuntu GNOME 16.10 with GNOME 3.22 and Firefox 50. I initially reported this issue here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox/+bug/1647198 But thought I should also do so upstream. More extensive system information and logs can be found at the linked downstream report. Are you able to reproduce the issue with old versions of Firefox? So I think that it's probably an issue with your environment instead. Have you tried downloading it and playing it in a native player? MP4 is a very common format so you should be able to find some way of playing. If however you do not manage, what format would you prefer me to upload it in? Yes, this issue showed up in a few of the previous releases. Though the issue is fairly recent. It just happens more in the later versions. Can you use the tool mozregression to narrow down a regression range, please. See http://mozilla.github.io/mozregression/ for details. Run the command "mozregression --good=45" (if 45 is good or older) then copy here the final pushlog. Would you like me to try and upload a gif version of it? Yes, I will have a go with that and let you know.
