Yakov, I'm moving this to the gnome-session package and changing the
status to 'Fix released' as you've not made any comment for a month now
so presumably your problem has been fixed by an update.
Please feel free to comment further and re-open this bug report if the
issues that you initially reported reappear in your Ubuntu installation.

Bug description:
Any hardware accelerated playback of video files causes shell to crash
back into gdm
Crashes are happening in telegram-desktop (Flatpak) built-in video
player, and Clapper (deb), but not happening in Firefox on wayland
(Flatpak)
