The translation issue is fixed in new releases so I'm closing this bug.
We are waiting for libgedit-gfls to be accepted in Debian NEW before
updating gedit.

Bug description:
gedit 47.0 intentionally breaks all translations. Therefore, it is
better for our users to avoid upgrading to that version.
