Well, why does one search for a file? I knew it was in there somewhere, I knew approximately what it was called, and I wanted to find it. So I used the Nautilus Go>Search for files (ctrl-F) functionality. But I also wanted to know *where* it was stored, since I needed other files from the same location. In the end I had to resort to the 'find' command in the shell, but that shouldn't have to be necessary, Nautilus could provide the information easily. When you say "all is fine" do you mean they have added a method to go to the enclosing directory, or that the field in the properties box is no longer shortened? Worse yet, if you ask for the file's properties, the location field is shortened to only show the initial part, so you can't even see where the file is located.
