** This bug has been marked a duplicate of bug 947278 unity-2d-shell crashed with SIGSEGV in ref() -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to unity-2d in Ubuntu. Matching subscriptions: dp-unity2d https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/964896 Title: unity-2d-shell crashed with SIGSEGV in data() Status in “unity-2d” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: I was trying to use a keyboard combination in gnome-terminal (alt+9 for switching to window 9 in irssi) when (presumably because I messed up) the HUD came up. I tried to get it to go away by pressing escape / clicking outside the HUD etc but it appeared to be frozen. After it went away I was presented with the apport dialog saying that Unity 2D had crashed, and here I am :) This has actually happened to me many times, but this is the first time I've had all my packages up to date so that Apport would actually let me send the bug report.
