Flashplayer is not working

Bug description:
After the recent updates from Ubuntu the flashplayer in mozilla
firefox has not been able to run videos on youtube or streaming audio
from websites. I've been looking for a fix fo it and have tried many
things out of the documentation. Nothing has worked so far.
