David, where exactly was that file located? (If you are running on Linux, you likely have different directories ~/.libreoffice/3/user vs. ~/.config/libreoffice/3/user containing that file.) Also, if you can wait for LO 3.5.3, you could check whether my subsequent fix makes your problem go away automatically (that fix was not yet in 3.5.3 rc1, but will be in later revisions). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to libreoffice in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/950071 Title: LibreOffice Recent documents list is always empty Status in LibreOffice Productivity Suite: Fix Released Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: Since I upgraded to 12.04 LTS LibreOffice does not populate the list of Recent documents. What should happen: 1. Open a document in LibreOffice 2. Close the document 3. Go to the menu File > Recent Documents 4. You should see the file you just closed What happens: 1. 2. 3. = 4. No file appears on the list, instead there is a grayed out "No documents". If I choose Open and then Recently used the file appears but I guess this is nautilus recent items. I can see some (not so) recent items in /.libreoffice/3/user/registrymodifications.xcu but newly opened files seem to not be recorded in this file ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.04 Package: libreoffice (not installed) ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.2.0-18.28-generic 3.2.9 Uname: Linux 3.2.0-18-generic i686 ApportVersion: 1.94.1-0ubuntu1 Architecture: i386 CheckboxSubmission: 70365ce2168bc57b47a3592c536702b5 CheckboxSystem: b633b4f40868d491c2ae5b50030ce6f3 Date: Thu Mar 8 12:16:13 2012 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS "Lucid Lynx" - Release i386 (20100816.1) SourcePackage: libreoffice UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to precise on 2012-03-08 (0 days ago) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/df-libreoffice/+bug/950071/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
