This bug is affecting me. 1. I select my user 2. I select Français (Canada) as my language 3. I specify my password and login 4. I logout 5. I select my user 6. The language selected is Unspecified [ANSI_X3-1968]

By default this language is set to the system's default. In Ubuntu 9.04 I could choose a language different from the system default and have that language pre-selected the next time I chose my name at the login screen. In Ubuntu 10.04 that is not the case; instead the system default is always chosen when I select my name. My girlfriend uses another language than me, so changing the system default is not a solution. Steps to reproduce: 1. Select your user from the user list at the login screen. 2. Select a language other than the system default at the bottom of the screen. 3. Log in. 4. Log out. 5. Select your name from the user list again. Result: The language at the bottom of the screen is the system default again, not the language you used on last login. Expected result: The language I selected the last time I logged in should be pre-selected. This is a regression compared to 9.04, which is the version I have used up until now.
