Title:
Missing options in network-manger on boot

Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
When my computer boots up with a wired network connection, the network
connects and works OK, however items (e.g. VPN options) are missing
  from the network-manager applet.

I must disable / re-enable networking to get the remaining options to
  appear.

  Screenshot attached.
