Title:
pulseaudio crashes after 10s of empathy VoIP

Status in “empathy” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Hi,

i try to do a sip call in empathy and the pulse audio process is using
100% CPU after few seconds. Regarding to the recommendation of a user
in ubuntuusers.de i started empathy with "ubuntu-bug empathy" to
reproduce this problem and open this bug report. This also
documentated in Bug #903799. I switched the default device to alsa
with gstreamer-properties. With this workaround the SIP telphony with
  empathy is possible.

  Best regards

  Dave
