Public bug reported:

Upgraded to 12.04 without propietary drivers. Used jockey-common to
activate nvidia propietary drivers. On restart X failed to start.
Checked xorg.conf and found it had not been updated to fit the nvidia
drivers. Copied an archived version and X launched. Checked and found
that nvidia-settings was not installed, even though it was installed in
11.10.

** Affects: jockey (Ubuntu)
