Still in Ubuntu 12.04 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/130868 Title: nautilus can not create directory with right mouse-button when in list view Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: Binary package hint: nautilus I don't know, maybe I am completely blind. But if this is right, it would be a serious issue in my opinion: 1.change nautilus to list view; 2. change into any directory that has more files than nautilus can displa at one page, so "after" the files is no free (in my case white) space. 3. Usually you can click into that space and create a directory. But if there is no space *after* the files, you can't click on the "empty directory background", you always select a file. As said, please correct me if I am totally wrong, but this is annoying behavoiur. Look at Konqueror or M$ Explorer, the way they do it is the intuitive one.
