Public bug reported:

Charline reports that in usability testing, if the Launcher has enough
items in it that some of them are accordion-folded, people then don't
see when a newly-installed application is added to the Launcher.

One way to solve this would be for newly-installed applications to go to
the beginning of the Launcher, not the end.

Another way would be to abandon the Launcher's accordion fold, in favor
of something that keeps all Launcher items on screen at once.
