Title: system connections not working Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Binary package hint: network-manager On my current Lucid system, network-manager is not initiating system- connections when it starts. The system connection is properly described in the file: /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections/Auto\ wifi It just doesn't seem to get started, even when I do a "system network- manager restart". It will get started however if I log in and have my personal copy of that connection initiated. $ apt-cache policy network-manager network-manager: Installed: 0.8-0ubuntu3 Candidate: 0.8-0ubuntu3 Version table: *** 0.8-0ubuntu3 0 500 http://apt.interlinx.bc.ca/ubuntu/ lucid/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/560256/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
