Title:
can't connect to mobile broadband with Huawei K3770 after suspending
and resuming
Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
After suspending and resuming, network manager won't connect to a
mobile broadband connection that usually works. Sakis3g will always
connect.
More details:
I have a Huawei K3770 mobile broadband usb modem. I have it set up to
automatically do the usb_modeswitch when plugged, which works. All I have to do
to connect is:
- plug the modem in and wait a few seconds
- in network manager, select the mobile broadband network to connect
However, after suspend/resume (with the modem already plugged in), if
I go to network manager and I connect to the network, it will fail. It
tries to connect and then the message "disconnected" appears.
Then I run sakis3G and it always succeeds to connect, so network
manager should be able to connect as well.
