-- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to software-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/466504 Title: Ubuntu Software Cente asks to enter password for every software package instead of the first time Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: Binary package hint: software-center I don't know if this has been reported all ready if it has I'm sorry, when I try to install any software though Ubuntu Software Center it asks from my user password every time, say I goto install blender for example, I type in blender in the search box or click on graphics, scroll down to blender , then click on the green arrow, then the page of blender shows up, I click on install a box shows up for me to enter my user password, I click on authorize, then a couple of seconds after another box shows up with something then cancel & authorize again only once I've clicked on authorize can the program be installed, then when I goto install another application I have to renter the user password & click on authorize again twice to install the second application, I have to go though it all again just to install anything lsb_release -a reports No LSB modules are available.
