I'm also seeing this bug in gnome-terminal 2.30.2. It causes frequent errors when I attempt to copy and paste text between windows.
Fortunately, other terminals don't seem to have this bug. I've switched to konsole, which works great. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-terminal in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/445084 Title: click-to-focus window is too sensitive Status in “gnome-terminal” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Binary package hint: gnome-terminal in jaunty, when I click a background gnome-terminal window to bring it into focus, I frequently end up with text selected in that terminal. This clears my (selection) clipboard and severely inhibits the clipboard functionality. Prior to jaunty this was not a problem.
