Title:
some keybindings with <Shift> are not recognized

Status in “gnome-settings-daemon” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gnome-settings-daemon

When using gnome-keybinding-properties to set e.g. Shift+Alt+> for
volume-up, the keybinding is not recognized. This holds for all
combination with Shift except when the main key is a letter key.

In gconf at apps\gnome-settings-daemon\keybindings, I tried all
  combinations:

  <Shift><Alt>greater
  <Alt><Shift>greater
  <Alt>greater
  <Shift><Alt>less
  <Alt><Shift>less

  to no effect.
