Title: Ubiquity X session loads at incorrect resolution in vmware with current daily LiveCD Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu: Invalid Status in “xorg-server” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: With the current daily LiveCD's the Ubiquity X session loads up at a crazy resolution in vmware (something around 4000x3000). This only affect the installer session, once ubuntu is installed and rebooted, then it comes up as expected at the correct resolution. This is a regression, as I have tested with a 12.04.1 Live CD and this does have this issue. A workaround is to force a sane resolution in for the VM in VMware, until vmware tools have been installed To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1045173/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
