I see that the fix was released almost three weeks ago, but have not yet seen any update in my 12.04.1 LTS installation. Meanwhile the zombie attack continues. Will there be a backport to the LTS system soon?

I used "top" application to view the number of zombie process. The more I press the Escape button in Login screen the more LightDM zombie process is created. I think this bug is similar to the following Bug #962932. Date of observe bug: 2012-04-27 Ubuntu 12.04 LTS I change LightDM with GDM version 3.0.4 and the zombie are gone.
