Use avconv instead (see Changelog for the list of incompatible changes). --- Since ffmpeg is still being developed on (ffmpeg.org) and the devs know this (see bug Bug #1004174 ), the above statement that the program shows is misinformation and a deliberate and outright lie. When it comes down to programming I can live with bugs but i can't live with dishonesty. politics and code do not mix very well. therefore i consider this bug as severe. possible solution: change the text to: --- This program is a fork of ffmpeg and the ffmpeg command is only provided for compatibility. Use avconv instead (see Changelog for the list of incompatible changes). --- To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libav/+bug/1007769/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
