Title:
Quantal doesn't always resume from suspend

Status in “xorg” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Screen remains black after resume.
Hiting the enter shows the mouse in processing state, indicating that the
login menu from lock screen is present (if one writes the pass it appears to
login - all this with the black screen).

Only way of recovering is from a tty kill Xorg.
Kill compiz eventually shows the windows opened before suspend but the
desktop is frozen.
  compiz --replace also doesn't work.

  It happens quite often.
