Plugged in a logitech cordless mouse and it has no issues so far.

So, the rapoo works fine in precise but not quantal,
the logitech works equally well in both.

Title:
Mouse clicks erratic since quantal upgrade

Status in “xserver-xorg-input-mouse” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
I upgraded to quantal and since the upgrade, my USB Mouse (Rapoo)
double clicks 7 out of 10 times when I single click. Weirdly enough,
the behaviour is not consistent and sometimes single clicks do not get
  registered either.

Mouse works fine on non-quantal systems. Will try another brand of
  mouse also and report back.
