Title:
Podcasts will not transfer to I-pod

Status in Banshee Music Player:
  Unknown
Status in “banshee” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Committed

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: banshee

I'm using Banshee 2.0. I am able to easily transfer music to my first
generation I-pod with no difficulty. However, if I attempt to move
podcasts to the I-pod, only the file titles move to the device under
the "Artists" section of the I-pod. If you attempt to play the
  podcast, nothing happens.

Since both music and podcast files are both .mp3, I am uncertain as to
why one maybe transfered and not the other. I did notice, however,
that the podcasts are downloaded as "read only" for some reason.
However, changing them to give them read/write privileges did not fix
  the problem.
