  Do you have any other add-ons installed? There were some problems
related to Firebug - https://bugs.launchpad.net/globalmenu-
extension/+bug/1025011 - so maybe it's a regression.

  bug in the global menu add on in firefox

Status in “firefox” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  in ubuntu 12.10 and firefox nightly 18.0a1
  while the global menu add on is enabled firefox keeps crashing every few 
minutes 

  in debug i got this:

  Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
  0x00007fffdb5f4f08 in ?? ()
     from 
/usr/lib/firefox-trunk/extensions/globalm...@ubuntu.com/components/libglobalmenu.so

  when i disabled the add on firefox is working great but i don't have a
  menu :)
