Interesting that if you uninstall libreoffice-gnome and libreoffice-gtk and 
gtk3 it will have the menu again.

It crashes when trying to open the libreoffice shortcut and choosing writer it 
wont open. Then it always tries to 
recover the file when clicking on calc or writer shortcuts.

Bug description:
  I just upgraded to 1:3.6.2~rc2-0ubuntu1 and the menu bar is gone under
  GNOME Shell session. Since I cannot use the menus, LibreOffice is
  unusable.

  This is basically bug 1044657 all over again.
