When a fullscreen window is visible, it stays on top and fullscreen even when it shouldn't. You can't get to the window menu (Alt+Space) and even window/screen transformations like scale don't work. They do work after the workspace is switched though (Ctrl+Alt+Left/Right). Initially I thought this was an incompatibility with "Unredirect Fullscreen Windows" but now I find it happens even without that option. The driver is doing its own unredirection even when it shouldn't. Workaround: Remove the fglrx (Catalyst) driver and use the built-in radeon driver instead.
