Value [CT4871], playback] When changing volume sound stutters in Rythmbox or other applications Status in “alsa-driver” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: This is on a fresh install of Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS PulseAudio 1:1.1-0ubuntu15.1 Generally if I change volume in the application or at the main volume control, volume does change by sound stutters badly. Eventually it will stop stuttering and I can force it to stop by moving teh volume control slightly back from where I initially set it. (turn it down or up a little from where I stopped). Also, when I close RythmBox or other applications playing sound, the sound will repeat itself until the volume control is moved or after a few seconds it may stop stuttering.
