Well, Firefox does not use mnemonics for bookmark items on any platform. They're pretty pointless for dynamic content such as bookmarks and history anyway.
If you're referring to the inability to select a bookmark item by pressing the key corresponding to it's first character, then this is not a Firefox bug, but a gtk limitation.
