Well, Firefox does not use mnemonics for bookmark items on any platform.
They're pretty pointless for dynamic content such as bookmarks and
history anyway.

If you're referring to the inability to select a bookmark item by
pressing the key corresponding to it's first character, then this is not
a Firefox bug, but a gtk limitation. It just doesn't support that

Title:
no mnemonics for items in bookmarks menu

Status in The Mozilla Firefox Browser:
  New
Status in “gtk+2.0” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
The bookmarks menu as well as the history menu don't show / have
mnemonics for the items in the menu. The only way to access items in
these menus is by using the cursor keys (or the mouse :( )

The other menus (file, edit, view, tools and help) do have the
  mnemonics for the items

  Example
<alt>F brings up the file menu; mnemonic V gives print preview
<alt>B brings up the bookmark menu; no option to go to an item by using a
mnemonic
