Maybe it is a special command, like the window list items, and it could
require some special handling. I'll check it out.

  Start presentation menu entry disabled

Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  Starting a presentation from the menu by selecting slideshow,
  slideshow doesn't work. The 'slideshow' menu item is grayed out and
  cannot be selected. To workaround the issue, you can use the toolbar
  button or press the keyboard shortcut F5, both which properly start
  the presentation.
