It is interesting in Status.net and Identi.ca accounts, as they have the option now, when you reply to someone (XXXX), the word @XXXX is no more written inside the message, leaving all the 140 signs available to write it and more clean. It can be strange to write to himself, so without the @XXXX to its own login it seems like a normal tweet. But what is interesting when we have to post many dents for a same subject is that it creates a discussion in Status.net that can be linked, with all the messages in tree view. So it still keeps the context (reply, conversation thread). Ex: http://identi.ca/conversation/88164272 And Gwibber respects this behavior : if I answer to someone in Identi.ca and delete the @XXXX, message is well posted as an answer even if the "@XXXX" does not appear. Gwibber is missing this feature : when I go to the menu of my own tweets, I can not "reply" myself. Also on Twitter site it's possible to answer to his own tweets, even if in this time the @XXXX remains. So do you think you could add this feature to Gwibber ? Thanks in advance.
