Title:
  Lenovo Y550P touchpad slow response

Status in “xserver-xorg-input-synaptics” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
Updating from ubuntu 11.10 to ubuntu 12.04 made the touchpad of the
laptop work like it is having a very slow resolution. I am moving the
finger on the touchpad, and the mouse pointer refreshes 1-2 times per
second. The touchpad cannot be used.

I've made a clean install of Ubuntu 12.04, Still having the same
  problem.

The problem also exists on Clear console (outside Xorg Graphic
  environment).

The above also exists on ubuntu Live CD
