Title:
LibreOffice Writer application menu missing, takes a while to appear

Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
I haven't found the exact pattern but try this with any version
between Quantal Beta 2 or the latest update today. I'm filing this bug
  using libreoffice-writer 1:3.6.1~rc2-1ubuntu5

  1. Open an existing document in LibreOffice Writer.
  2. Move the mouse pointer to the top of the screen.

  EXPECTED OUTCOME

Application menu appears with option File, Edit, View...

  ACTUAL OUTCOME

Nothing appears in the window ar apart from the icons to close,
  minimize, maximize. See screenshot.

If you go to check other applications and then come back later, the
  menu is there.

PS: while filing this bug I found out that you can also see this
problem by creating a New document and quickly moving your mouse
pointer to the top bar. The menu option will appoear after a second or
so. But with written documents it seem to take a lot longer.

Slightly annoying and never seen in previous Ubuntu versions.
