Thanks a lot for your report on this, however the situation is not as dire as it might appear.
The app called 'PornView' has shown up on our radar from time to time, and it is actually rather harmless. The description is: "PornView is an image and movie viewer/manager with thumbnail previews. Additional features includes thumbnail caching, directory tree views, adjustable zoom, and fullscreen view. Slideshows allow for unattended presentation of images for hands-free viewing. Pornview is written using GTK+." Basically, it's an image viewer with a very unfortunate name. ** Changed in: software-center (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to software-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1063842 Title: PornView App as recomendation on gcompris details page in Software Center Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: Hello, I recently noticed that a recommendation for PornView app has been on the details page of gcompris package (collection for kids programs) as you can see in my attached screenshot.
