Public bug reported:

"Save" and "Save As" dialogs do not appear. "Open" dialog does work.

"Save" does nothing.

"Save As" results in a region appearing momentarily in the lower part of
the current window, but it only appears for a moment and then
disappears.

Error Console reports the following:

Error: NS_ERROR_XPC_GS_RETURNED_FAILURE: Component returned failure
code: 0x80570016 (NS_ERROR_XPC_GS_RETURNED_FAILURE)
[nsIJSCID.getService] Source File:
chrome://global/content/contentAreaUtils.js

This still happens after disabling all add-ons.

This still happens if I use another Firefox profile from the same user
account.

This does NOT happen if I log in under another Ubuntu user account.

This does NOT happen under the same user account with another browser
(ie Chrome).
