** Description changed: I have an Epson Stylus Office BX925FWD, or what I think is an Epson Workforce 840 series printer. In Quantal (Not Precise - then it was fine...), printing a test page results in 'Idle - can't detect file type' in the Red Hat system-config-printers application, AKA 'Printing' (the default printing manager', and 'Filter failed' in View Attributes window. This didn't happen in Precise, and it is likely a fault in cups, not Red Hat's utility, as I had set the Printer up using localhost:631 and returned the same error... http://i49.tinypic.com/2jcf2w5.png + + This worked previously in quantal, so it is probably caused by an + update, and printing anything else works fine.
