do your mean the jack detection is incorrect ?

   Green Headphone Out, No sound at all after logout

Status in “alsa-driver” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  I am running Ubuntu 12.10. After I start my computer, everything is working 
fine with the audio. But if I logout and login back, the output audio (green 
Headphone) doesn't work. You need to open alsamixer and tune the master and 
headphone (it start working again), or reboot...
