Title: [network-admin] doesn't ifconfig down disabled interfaces Status in The Gnome System Tools: Won't Fix Status in “gnome-system-tools” package in Ubuntu: Triaged Bug description: My laptop has a built-in ethernet card and I use a PCMCIA wifi card extensively. Using the network-admin from gnome-system-tools I am able to set up various profiles, most which leave the ethernet card disabled. However, when switching profiles, disabled interfaces which are up should be ifdown --force'd. This has caused a great deal of headache to determine. http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=303724: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=303724 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gst/+bug/16783/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
