If I deactivate thumbnailing nautilus uses 0% of CPU and also does not use
much memory, but I have to look at this for a longer time.

  I installed mythbuntu 12.04 and then ubuntu-desktop. If my computer runs for 
some hours nautilus consumes more and more memory (up to 1GB) and also more
