Dear duplicate-robot, this bug description is likely more helpful to gnome developers; Not duplicate, but better merge with bug #787465. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-terminal in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/835331 Title: context unchecked "Showmenu Menubar" but Menubar visible on startup Status in “gnome-terminal” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Then selecting/Checking "Show MenuBar", does nothing (its shown already). Then again, it really hides (as should be in the beginning) and the menu point is unchecked. Seems as if the menubar visibility is bound to the manual menu selection (instead of reading from settings) ?
