Public bug reported:

I had originally report this bug on 13 Jul 2012, and after posting the
PPDs and log information I have seen no acknowledgement of the bug nor a
change in its status from Incomplete. So I have dutifully been updating
the OS, and doing our custom page size printing from Windows, which has
made a mess of our workflow.

I have also enquired a few times under the bug tracking entry as to its
status but have received no reply.

Since the bug also seems to be in a perpetual state of aging out of the
system due to inactivity, I am posting again as a new bug to see if this
might be resolved.

After doing some research with my limited ability to penetrate the
printing system, it would seem to me that the offsets of the printed
page, which were being calculated properly in recent versions up to
12.04, i.e., aligning the printed page centred on the leading edge of
the pager, have gone off the rails. They are now left-aligned on the
trailing edge or sometimes completely centred on the media.

If there is another way to take the bug off the Incomplete list, I would
welcome the pointers. It is just that after 5 months, I am not sure
what else I can do.

advTHANKSance.
