Confirmed for Xubuntu i386 11.10, 12.04, and 12.10.

Disclaimer: I don't know Python, so I could be way off.
Grepping through gnome-games-3.6.0.2/gnome-sudoku/src/lib/ main.py:152 calls
start_timing() during select_game(). Presumably it should go somewhere after
select_game(), like at the end of make_new_game_model() or setup_dialog() in
game_selector.py?
